Straight facts, no fluff
Lovely refurbished rooms with comfortable beds provided a restful sleep. The kind host ensured our dietary needs were met, making breakfast delightful. While noise from the pub below could disrupt nights, the hotel’s peaceful countryside location offers great exploring opportunities. A good stay for those seeking comfort and charm, as well as a good value!

Incredible looking room with a lovely garden outlook. The tea and coffee setup in-room brought a nice touch after a long day of driving, and the complimentary biscuits were a pleasant surprise.
The check-in process felt awkward, having to navigate through the pub while patrons were enjoying their evening. Limited on-site parking made finding a spot tricky, and the shared shower arrangement was less than ideal. Definitely not impressed by the kettle's sporadic performance. it took more clicks than necessary to get it working properly. A misleading room description left us overlooking the village green instead of the garden.

A cozy escape after a tough day
Got stranded on a train near here, but the pub was a lifesaver! The landlady and her sweet dog made me feel so welcomed with a cold beer and some snacks. The vibe was super chill, perfect for me to relax with my baby. Only thing is, the bar area could've used more seating. Really enjoyed my stay!

The room was cozy and spotlessly clean, but my highlight was the lovely fresh towels! 🛁 Just a heads up, the shower is shared, which can be a bit annoying.

The cosy, spotlessly clean room offered a comfortable bed adorned with fresh-smelling towels, making for a pleasant sleep. The selection at breakfast was another highlight, including fruits, cereals, and pastries. the shower situation was inconvenient. it wasn't in the room and took time to heat, which detracted from the experience. I found the lack of on-site breakfast disappointing, especially since the nearest cafe was closed.
